Role of Scouting is bridging together diverse cultures, fostering deeper appreciation and thus help creating a better world.
Various cultures are expressions of inner nature and creativity of people. In all these cultural expressions there is always an inner core of unity in diversity - the unity of humanity's eternal urge to achieve a better life which is in tune with the ultimate goal of Scouting as a life long educational process as envisioned by its founder - to create a better world for the posterity.

Logos

24^th APR Scout Conference Logo

The logo is green in colour depicting the green lustrous world. The Royal Bengal Tiger, the National animal of Bangladesh is shown forging ahead with a strong forcet further strengthen the Asia-Pacific Regional Unity.

7^th APR Scout Youth Forum Logo

The Logo's bright purple colour and the red, yellow and green ribbon represents the movement and the three segments of world scouting. It also depicts youth full of enthusiastic energy who can make this world even more constructive and meaningful.

APR Course for Leader Trainers Logo

The logo is blue in colour highlighting the maturity and amicability with which the dissemination of knowledge is imparted to the next generation. The four wooden beads are symbol of the Leader trainers.

Painting Competition

The 24^th APRSC 2012 Organising Committee is requesting all the National Scout Organisation (NSO) of the Asia-Pacific Region to participate in the forthcoming Painting Competition and Exhibition. more...

Educational Tour Programme

On the 26 November, 2012, an exciting Educational Tour Programme has been arranged by the host committee of the 24th Asia Pacific Regional Scouts Conference 2012. It is a four hours (one way) journey by special train (organised only for the participants of the conference) and the destination will be Srimangal Tea Resort, Maulavibazar, Sylhet. Srimangal is known as the tea capital of Bangladesh. Breakfast will be served in the train. A cultural show will perform at the tea garden by the local tribal scouts. Participants will also be able to see the aesthetic beauty of the green tea garden and tea museum. Lunch will be served in the Tea Garden premises. After getting an exotic natural experience, all participants will be back to Dhaka in the evening by same train.
