24th APRSC Activity News
In the 23rd APRSC 2009 in Malaysia, Bangladesh Scouts won to organize the 24th APRSC to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2012.
In this connection, Bangladesh Scouts have formed a Steering Committee, Organizing Committee and other relevant Sub-committees to make the forth coming event a success.
At the same time, the committees for the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Youth Forum and the Course for Leader Trainers have also been formed.
The first preparatory meeting was held in September 2010 in Dhaka with the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee members. There were several meetings held thereafter by both the Organizing and Steering Committees by this time.
All the sub-committees presented their plans of activities along with the budget to the Organizing Committee several times and after reviewing the above, it has come closer to a final stage.
The second preparatory meeting was also held with the Asia-Pacific Officials in the month of March 2011. Work gaining momentum to organize the Conference and the Ancillary Events.
